Math Tricks in English  Know Math Tricks in English  :

1) Multiply any Number with 11:

If you want to multiply a digit by 11, how will you do that in the shortest possible time? You just have to follow the steps given below and you will get the answer.

For example we multiply 45 by 11: 45×11

You have to put brackets between the two digits first: 4( )5

Now put both the digits in brackets: 4(4+5)5

Put whatever answer you get after submission, in brackets: 4(9)5

495 is the correct answer.

But what if the answer after summing both the digits is more than 9? I mean to say what to do if the answer after submission is in 2 digit number? So it is also very easy, let's know how.

For example, this time we multiply 69 by 11: 69×11

First put brackets between the two digits: 6( )9

Put both digits inside brackets: 6(6+9)9

Submit the first digit from the first number outside the bracket and leave the second digit inside the bracket: 6(15)9==> 6+1(5) 9==> 759

The correct answer is 759.

2) Square of any Number that ends with 5:

With the help of this trick, you can easily find out the square root of whatever number ends at number 5. Let's know how.

For example, this time we take the number 95.

First of all forget the last digit 5.

Now add 1 to the number left: 9+1=10

Multiply the answer after the submission with the same number in which we deposited 1: 9×10=90

Now whatever result comes, put 25 in the end: 9025

You can also use this trick with a three digit number but it should also have a 5 at the end. For example Square of 965?

Again you have to use the same method. First of all forget the last digit 5 and put 1 in the remaining digit (96+1)=97. Now whatever result comes, multiply it by the same number in which you had deposited 1 (97×96)=9312. Now whatever answer comes, it takes 25 at the end and here the correct answer will be = 931225

3) Multiply any Number with 5:

If you want to multiply any number by 5, then you can do it quickly with this trick.

For example, we multiply 358 by 5.

First, divide whatever number is there by 2: (358÷2)=179

Now whatever result comes, multiply it by 10. In other words, put zero at the end of whatever result comes: 1790

The correct answer is 1790

But what to do in case when dividing the number gives the answer in decimal? This will also be done in the same way as we have taught above.

Let's assume this time the number is 359

Divide the number by 2: 359÷2=179.5

Now multiply the number by 10: 179.5×10=1795

4) Multiply any Number with 9:

If you want to multiply any number by 9 quickly, then use this trick for that.

For example, we multiply 153 by 9.

Now put a zero at the end of whatever number it is: 1530

Subtract whatever number was at the beginning from the new number: (1530-153)=1377

The correct answer is 1377

5) Divide any Number with 5:

This trick is for those numbers which have to be divided by 5, so let's know how to do it.

For example, divide 375 by 5.

Multiply that number by 2 for this trick: 375×2=750

Now take the decimal point one step further: 750==> 75.0

The correct answer is 75

If a number is already in decimal and it has to be divided by 5, then let's know how to do it.

For example, divide 162.3 by 5

Whatever the number is, multiply it by 2: (162.3×2)=324.6

Move the decimal point one step further and the correct answer is: 324.6==> 32.46

6) Multiply any Number with 15:

Many times it also happens that when we have to multiply a number by 15, then a lot of our time is wasted, so use this trick of ours.

For example we multiply 92 by 15

Put a zero at the end of whatever number it is: 920

Whatever result comes, divide it by 2: (920÷2)=460

Now add both the numbers and there the correct answer will be: (920+460)=1380

7) Addition of 2 Digit Numbers:

If you want to deposit any 2 digit number quickly, then follow this trick.

For example we store 62 and 29

Submit the first digit of both the numbers: 6+2=8

Now select the last digit of any of the two numbers. For example I selected 9

Now put that number at the end of the first digit you got by depositing it: 89

Like I had selected 9 while selecting the last digit but the last digit of the second number is still left. In my example, that last digit is 2, so we will add 2 to the result we got: 91

The correct answer is 91
